How much does a project cost?
Every project is scoped individually, so there's no fixed price list. Share a few details about what you're building and we'll send a clear proposal with a quote and timeline, with no obligation.
How long does a project take?
A focused landing page can be live in a couple of weeks, a full website typically takes several weeks, and web apps and mobile apps vary with scope. Your proposal includes a realistic timeline, and you'll see progress on a live preview link throughout.
Do we need everything figured out before reaching out?
Not at all. Many of our projects start with a rough idea. A discovery call is a low-pressure way to talk through what you're trying to accomplish and figure out the right approach together.
Who will I be working with?
FDF Studio is an independent studio. You work directly with the developer who designs and builds your project, from the first call through launch and support. No account managers, no handoffs.
Do you handle HIPAA or other compliance requirements?
We build with security best practices: secure sign-in, encrypted data, dependency audits, and careful handling of personal information. We are not a compliance vendor and don't hold HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar certifications. If your project handles regulated data, we'll say so upfront and recommend a compliance specialist to review the requirements.
Who owns the website or app when it's done?
You do. Your domain, hosting, code, and accounts are set up in your name and handed over with documentation. There's no lock-in.
Can you take over or improve an existing site?
Absolutely. Whether it needs a redesign, a fix, better performance, or ongoing maintenance, existing sites and apps are welcome.
Where are you located, and do you work remotely?
FDF Studio is based in the Los Angeles area and works with clients everywhere. Local businesses are welcome to meet in person, and for everyone else calls, previews, and check-ins all happen online, so location is never a barrier.
